The rights of the road

"Beware! Avoid sitting on the roads." 

They (the people) said, "O Allah's Messenger! We can't help sitting (on the roads) as these are (our places) here we have talks."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ' lf you refuse but to sit, then pay the road its right '

They said, "What is the right of the road, O Allah's Apostle?"

He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'Lowering your gaze, refraining from harming others, returning greeting, and enjoining what is good, and forbidding what is evil."

 

 

The above quotation was said by Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) Sahih Bukhari Volumn 008, Book 074, Hadith Number 248. Narated By Abu Said Al-Khudri  

Kindness

"Make things easy for the people, and do not make it difficult for them, and make them calm (with glad tidings) and do not repulse them (reject with rudeness)"

The above quotation was said by Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) Sahih Bukhari Volumn 008, Book 073, Hadith Number 146. Narated By Anas bin Malik

Best Husband

'The most perfect believer in the matter of faith is one who has excellent behaviour ; and the best among you are those who behave best towards their wives.'

The above quotation was said by Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 278 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah 

Your neighbor..

"By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!"  

It was asked, "Who is that, O Messenger of Allah?" 

 

Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said , "That person whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil." and in another narration the wordings are; "that person who sleeps with a bellyful and his neighbor sleeps hungry."

 

The above quotation was said by Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him). Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.45    Narrated by Abu Shuraih

The best wife

When Allah's Messenger (saws) was asked which woman was best, he (peace and blessing be upon him) replied,

 

"The one who pleases (her husband) when he looks at her, obeys him when he gives a (lawful) command, and does not go against his wishes regarding her person or property by doing anything of which he disapproves."  

 

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3272 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

3 types of people

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Allah said, 'I will be an opponent to three types of people on the Day of Resurrection:

One who makes a covenant in My Name, but proves treacherous; One who sells a free person and eats his price; and One who employs a laborer and takes full work from him but does not pay him for his labour.' "

Hadith quoted from Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.470  Narrated by Abu Huraira

The wolf

'Verily the Shaytaan is the enemy of a man just as the wolf is (the enemy) of a flock. He seizes the solitary sheep going astray from the flock or going aside from the flock.   So avoid the branching paths; it is essential for you to remain along with the (righteous) community.'

Singing

'Singing produces hypocrisy in the hearts'.

Half religion

"When a man marries he has fulfilled half of the religion; so let him fear Allah regarding the remaining half."

Preference of life?

"He who loves his present life, does damage to his Hereafter; and he who loves his Hereafter, does damage to his present life! So prefer what is Lasting, to what is transitory."

Good Manners

“A believer does not taunt, curse, abuse or talk indecently.”

The above quotation was said by Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 1740 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
